Will Palmer joins HHC for BRDC F4 Winter Series

Will Palmer has signed to race in the BRDC F4 Winter Series with HHC Motorsport, the team that he has run with for the past two seasons in Ginetta Juniors, finishing third overall this year. The team ran Charlie Robertson to third overall in Formula 4 this year with three wins, and also ran Harry Woodhead to the Ginetta Junior title.

The Winter series takes place over two weekends and eight races, the first of which will be held at Snetterton 300 on the 9th and 10th November, while the second will take place at Brands Hatch Indy on the 23rd and 24th of November.  Each day will feature a twenty minute qualifying session followed by two twenty minute races.

Will spent two days testing the F4 car last week at Snetterton and is hopeful of fighting at the sharp end in Formula 4.

"I've been following BRDC F4 very closely this season and it is clearly an excellent championship. It is very competitive and the cars are great fun to drive, with a huge amount more grip and power than the Ginetta I have been driving this year!

"HHC Motorsport were the obvious choice for me having been with them for two years in Ginetta Juniors, finishing third overall this year, especially after seeing how competitive they have been in F4. For the Winter Series I hope I can be in the top half of the field and score consistent results across the eight races."

Team principal of HHC, Charlie Kemp, was delighted to continue the team's association with Palmer: "HHC Motorsport is delighted to continue our relationship with Will. He has progressed a lot as a driver with us over the past two years in Ginetta Juniors and we are pleased he has chosen HHC Motorsport for his first single seater foray in the BRDC F4 Winter Championship."
