Will Palmer selected for the BRDC Rising Stars Scheme

Will Palmer, on the back of an impressive rookie season in single seaters which sees him in contention for the BRDC Formula 4 title having taken two wins and six podiums, has been selected for the BRDC Rising Stars Scheme, which recognises young up and coming talent from the UK and commonwealth countries.

The scheme helps young drivers progress their careers with the support of the prestigious BRDC, and has helped the careers of many current professional drivers including Lewis Hamilton.

"It's fantastic to be selected as a BRDC Rising Star, it's a great help to have the support of the BRDC as they are the most elite club in British motorsport and are very experienced in helping young drivers develop their careers."

"It's also nice that my achievements so far this year have been recognised, and with three rounds to go I hope to win the championship."

Will's first race as a BRDC Rising Star will take place at Brands Hatch on the 30th/31st August, where he will be looking to add to his win tally and close down the 36 point gap to current series leader George Russell.
