Palmer begins 2015 F4 campaign at Oulton Park this weekend

The 2015 Duo BRDC Formula 4 Championship gets underway at Oulton Park this Easter Weekend (4/6 April) and Winter Series Champion Will Palmer is aiming for title glory.

Palmer came sixth in the main championship last year but followed this up by claiming the Winter Championship in dominant fashion. He took victory in four of the eight races on the calendar with three victories at Snetterton before glory in the final round at Brands Hatch secured the crown.

He will continue racing with HHC Motorsport but will face tough competition from rookie teammates Harri Newey and Sisa Ngebulana. Newey, the son of legendary Formula One designer Adrian, is graduating from karting and South African Ngebulana, who hails from Fourways near Johannesburg, has represented his country in karts before making the step up to BRDC F4.

A number of other drivers will be looking to join the title fight including Lanan Racing drivers Jack Bartholomew, Chris Mealin and Rodrigo Fonseca. Last year's Scottish Formula Ford Champion Ciaran Haggerty arrives in the series with Ecurie Ecosse plus backing from racing legends Dario Franchitti and Allan McNish and will be another one to watch.

There are notable names down the rest of the grid, including Jordan Albert who demonstrated strong pace in pre-season testing, and each driver will be full of hope ahead of the lights going out to begin the 2015 season.

You can follow Will's progress throughout the weekend by following live updates on www.formula4.com or on twitter @BRDCF4.
